Requests about people's personal routines

In a previous post (Forms of exercise), I mentioned how everyone needs to find what works for them in terms of diet and exercise, because everyone's bodies are different and everyone has different responsibilities of life as well. Ultimately, you need to find things that work for you, which doesn't feel burdensome. However, this does require consulting experts, doing your own research and trial/error with various methods/ approaches.

It is always tempting to ask people that have achieved certain results what they specifically did, because it has clearly proven to be successful. However, people might not like being needled with questions which might be inferred as inquisitive, and it can feel like you are comparing yourself to them. If you don't know where to begin, the university of Youtube is always a good place to start. There are tens of work out videos, exercise routine videos, videos providing knowledge on how to go about even choosing the type of workout (and thus workout videos) to consider. Typically people begin with, what they call, their problem areas. We all know which parts on our own bodies they are, so you can begin by searching for workout videos targeting those parts, then expand accordingly. Typically you want to end up with a well rounded routine, and consistency is obviously key (I myself can feel the difference when I keep to my schedule vs when I exercise haphazardly).
